Employed in the insurance industry for over 45 years, Nick has worked in underwriting, claims and field work with both national and international insurers. He started his career in New Zealand, and migrated to Canada in 1970. Nick became a broker in 1983, including over ten years as an account executive with one of the leading international brokers. He is highly experienced and effective broker in commercial insurance, with specialties in IT insurance, intellectual property insurance and in directors & officers liability insurance.
Nick’s extracurricular activities include duty as a seminar presenter for the Insurance Brokers Association of BC, with topics including such subjects as Building By-Laws – Staying Up To Date, Initial Risk Assessment and How to get Your Business Declined by An Underwriter.
He takes a keen interest in woodworking and flyfishing and, occasionally, inventing and developing “stuff” for fly fishing!
